Great to see a forum for all SF riders out there, I think the bike is an instant classic, thanks so much for hosting the site. I think it will be very handy for everyone.

      Keep it shiny side up,

Started on a new 1993 Katana 600, then 1995 YZF-6, 2001 GSXR750, 2002 FZ1, 2008 BMW R1200RT, and now, my dream bike is on order. Was tempted between the S4R and the BMW a few years ago, but was veto'd by then wife. New wife urged me to pick up a Duc, so w00t here I am.
Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new fighter purchase. I picked mine up last summer (1098s)and it's been the most fun I have ever had on two wheels!

Greetings from sunny SoCal! I bought my new 1098 Streetfighter S in March 2010 and love this bike!
Decided that my 2008 1098S was a little too much for me and I wanted something a little more comfortable since I'm in my 40s now.
All it took was a test ride and I was sold! This is my 4th Ducati and 8th bike overall...I still miss my 998S Final Edition but oh well..
I wish I could have keep more bikes in my stable but the wife says I can only have one at a time.
Gonna take her to the track this year....I belong to the California Superbike School (Keith Code) and I highly recommend them as they are top notch!
I had the pleasure to ride the beloved Laguna Seca circuit last year on the BMW S1000 RR and boy was that fun!!

Greetings from Atlanta! I look forward to participating on this site. I'm constantly looking for updates on when the SF 848 will arrive and that's how I came across this site. I've ordered a black SF but the dealer is now saying mid April! I wish I wouldn't have sold my 1198 yet. That bike was too fast for the street, it didn't really start to breath until it was at triple digits.

I've had the 2011 1198, 2005 Monster S4R, 2004 Monster 620, FZR 400, FZR 600. I love the corners so I want to stay with sport bikes for now but don't want the aching wrists.

I look forward to sharing in the mod corner. The local " Duc Shop" said he can add 15-20 hp to the 848 with a different air filter. I'll do that and re spring and valve the front forks right away in addition to adding Olihns in the rear. If anybody wants to ride in the Blue Ridge mountains or the Dragon let me know. God Bless.

      Hi All.

      Greetings from Melbourne, Australia.

I've had my Ducati Streetfighter 848, for 4 weeks. Its almost run in....
      It's the pearl yellow.

I absolutely love it! I sold my Monster 696, as soon I our local dealers had some stock.

I love the black. I think it looks pretty bad ass. Welcome to the forum. Don't forget to share some pics when you pick her up.
